LividCore - Now on the Asset Store!

n/a

I am honest, call me dumb, but I dont really get what this asset is all about.

By default it contains various editors that create new scripts, generating names, a toolbar and so forth.

Various editors for what? That create what kind of new scrips, and again for what? etc

But maby its just me who’s not getting it at all

Cheers,
Sash

Looks very useful for making complex projects, but the price tag is way too high, IMO.

UPD: It is also very unclear on what actually is possible and what is the workflow. An online documentation or tutorial video would be great.

Hosting a documentation is not a problem - I have my Doxygen documentation hosted on Github Pages for a long time  This is completely free, and Github is, of course, quite reliable.
I see what you mean about pricing and tutorials, but for most people it probably really looks like “Some really complex thingy without any explanation, and it’s worth $50? Duh?”. Nevertheless I see quite a lot of potential in here, so I’ll be watching this thread for updates.

I would really need to see a video to understand what LividCore does. It seems useful, but the purpose, to echo other’s sentiments, is vague…

The Doxygen-generated PDF documentation doesn’t explains anything, as it is actually a API reference. At least a text tutorial can explain much more even if you are not a pro in that.

I had a look at the documentation, and I can begin to see what this does:

Its an extension for the Unity Editor that makes “extending” the editor easier, with support for adding your own tool-bars, visually modifying preferences, language settings, and anything other settings that you change often from within the Unity editor. It allows you to create “editors”, which are basically windows that bring together your own oft-used functionality into one window.

From that perspective, its quote useful. Well done! I would think it would be more useful for large projects rather than small indie projects, but of course that is my subjective opinion only.
