Well, we’ve made it through another year and we haven’t been forced into our metro systems to survive as the surface world crumbles into an inhospitable wasteland, so I’m pretty sure that means we’ve still got a while left to go.
2012 wasn’t the best year for me in terms of game development. A few small projects here and there, but nothing major. This time I hope to take on that ‘one game a month challenge’, and see how that goes. This should be fun.
Love the Metro 2033 reference, but I’m too scared of the game to continue playing it at the moment heh. As for my year, I learned how to program this year and got a game out so that was pretty cool. Working on another right now.
Planning to focus on games this year, get a game finished within the next few months hopefully, and sell it! Also hopefully will get it onto the Ouya console. In the back of my mind I have a lot of tools/utilities I want to make for the asset store but those are shelved for now. I have to find out if I can do this game thing.
This year I plan to use Unity to code frameworks and interactive presentations for wall sized led panels for clients on the advertising field.
Also expanding and supporting my tools for my friends in this community using them;
And keep going with my gaming projects of course
I just finished METRO 2033 a few days ago for the second time this time on my HD projector + surround audio system…most terrifying experience I ever had :)))
Well,there’s a lot for me in 2013…the previous year wasn’t exactly a productive year for me.
The most important for me,improve my 3D/2D Art skills and finish my portofolio.Start working on my game(which is still on paper,GDD only) and improve my C# skills.
No I’m bit before that when you go above ground, I’m really low on ammo and lost the other guy. I keep hearing about this library though, and that makes me even more scared :P. Thanks.
Happy New Year everyone! 2012 was a good year, but 2013 can be better! Personally, I want to learn more, and procrastinate less. Game development is(mostly) fun, why postpone it? Hehe. Good luck to you all with your plans and projects!
