Localising app name

I have an Windows 8 app and localised the app name in Visual Studio with ms-resource:AppTitle etc.

and reserved names in different languages in the upload form.

But when it’s published the details section has the app-name in English for all the different languages.

I emailed Microsoft and their reply was:

The name for your app will remain the same for every market. It will retain the name “[English name]” for all markets it is entered into.

But then what’s the point in reserving the app name in different languages. I truly do not understand.

Plus, my apps always sell best in Russia and Germany but they won’t find my app with an English name.

well that’s a growing pain that needs to be corrected… i’ld contact support or ask for a change somehow… or submit another of the same with a different name in the native language (?).
