Localize inspector doesn't show tables [resolved]

I have three different locale tables, and the localize inspector has previously worked for me. Since updating to 1.3.2, the inspector window is now blank -

If I fold out the “String Reference”, I can select an individual table just fine, but the “Select String table entry…” window remains blank for me.

Try typing in the search. It looks like it’s using the new search tool.

Thanks Karl, that did the trick - I feel dumb. The letters I was typing previously just didn’t happen to line up with any of my keys, so it looked perpetually empty. I much prefer the previous interface where you could see all the selections!

You can go back to the old one in the preferences.

Thanks! The older window fits our workflow better, this is great.

FYI the old-style one throws an exception every time you open it -

ExitGUIException: Exception of type 'UnityEngine.ExitGUIException' was thrown.
UnityEngine.GUIUtility.ExitGUI () (at <69bcbb1dde7d49b2aed63b1879b25dc3>:0)

I took my hours to find this solution, the empty table is so confusing!
Would it possible to change the table’s behaviour and show all entries by default?

Yes, we are working on changing this

Hi,
This is fixed in 1.4.3 of the package. You can upgrade through the package manager or if the version is not visible then manually change the manifest.json file in the Packages folder.

Thank you very much!!! did not seen 1.4.3 but change the value in manifest.json did the trick. is there a way to check my other packages if ther is an update i do not see in the package manager?

Thank you i tested the Search function now and it works. Looks good!

The package manager should show you the latest version. You may need to choose the option to show all versions in the options and then refresh.

How is the “Newer” search tool worse than the old one…yeesh
