Locomotion System at GDC 2009!

Hi,

The Game Developers Conference 2009 is near and I am proud to announce that my session proposal has been approved! I will be doing a 60-minute lecture in the Programming track on the subject of:

Dynamic Walking with Semi-Procedural Animation
(Follow the link to see the session description on the GDC website.)

The session will go in much more technical details than the presentation I did at Unite 2008, since this one is aimed at letting the (unfortunate) people who are not using Unity in on how such a Locomotion System can be implemented from scratch.

That said, the technical details can still give a more in-depth understanding of how the system works that can be useful even when using the already implemented Locomotion System in Unity. If any of you are going to GDC this year, I hope to see you there!

The Locomotion System for Unity is available for download at:

That is so freakin’ cool, congrats Rune!

This is great. I’ll try to make it there! I can’t wait for GDC 2009!

Congratulations

Congrats–that’s hugely awesome!

Amazingly awesome news Rune!

Thanks for sharing!

Wow congrats that’s uber-cool!
