Are you sure, as I know unity3d LOD is not based on distance but size of object on screen.
I did a quick test and you are correct it works.
I’m using a plugin for trees called Vegetation Studio Pro and it wasn’t working. It must be a setting within the plugin to fix it.
What was the specific setting you had to change? Please let me know, Thanks
