LOD Group UX grayed out scene view

Dunno where to put this or how to tag it as this creating a new topic stuff sucks but something else that is really bothering me and also really sucks in the in editor LOD group ux, given we don’t have nanite I’m trying to optimize alot of trees with imposters and frankly trying to create seamless zero pop LOD’s is more of hassle given the LOD group component which I doubt has seen a UX or improvement made to it in probably decade… my issue is who in the hell finds dragging the camera slider over the different LOD levels and having the scene camera grayed out, taking out all color and making it even harder to actually see the LOD swap… not to mention there is no control on the camera positioning, you drag the slider across the LOD groups and you don’t get an option where the scene camera doesn’t get zoomed out or in, these options would be very useful with testing… even selecting the LOD group in the LOD group component it would be nice if the LOD group selected would be the one swaped to in the scene… yes you can go mess about with the hierarchy to see the LOD groups… anyway the whole thing just plain sucks… LOD groups are still useful and with Imposters at the lowest detail its about the only thing saving me from just ditching this nonsense and going to UE.

TLDR I just don’t want this gray… makes it harder to see other LOD groups on other prefabs while dragging the camera slider which I don’t always want moving the camera either… add more options.
