Logitech G PRO Flight Yoke System byte alignment errors

As the subject says,

I purchased a
Logitech G PRO Flight Yoke System

and the New Input System throws a giant pile of “state must be byte aligned” errors when so much as viewing the Input Debugger or trying to use it in any way (ie: through the action system or directly through its Device accessors).

Has anyone encountered / solved this with either this device or another standard DirectInput device?

I just recently ran across this problem. I found an old flight stick (Cyborg X FLY 5) and installed it seeing if it still worked. It was still installed on my machine while I then opened my unity project. I started looking for solutions when I ran across this.

Unfortunately, I have not found any answer besides unplugging the device…
