Long Inspector popups are painful with no mouse wheel or scrollbar support

ok I know you can use the keyboard to jump to items starting with that letter in a pop up list in the inspector

but other than that why cant these lists have a scroll bar and support mouse wheel? This should be standard behaviour for any UI popup/dropdown list no?

Yeah, its painful, but is it OS specific issue, because you can scroll them on OSX for example?
