Just updated a large (8GB) project to Unity 3 and I've noticed that it now takes a very long time when go from one scene to another. The scenes are certainly quite large, but it wasn't really a problem in Unity 2.6. We are working with Desktop builds of the game. Has something changed in the way Unity loads assets and can anyone suggest some best practice tips to optimise load times when going from scene to scene?
