Those look v.high poly with a large map size

I doubt anyone will use these commercially.

If your making a commercial game, I wouldnt use these models I would personally buy them or model them yourselves.

If not, Email the website asking permission before you publish a game.

These websites always come with some sort of “fishyness” around them. Always becareful in real life and online what people call “free” after all…

definitely, this site was offering free link, crysis, and halo models. I wouldn’t use them.

If you need models for a game or project, Advertise your project in the root category of the forum. You never know if its good enough you will get some modelers :slight_smile:

One of the free sites I went to clearly state that the models may be downloaded for commercial use royalty free… and then in tiny text at the bottom of the screen it says that they may only be used for creating 2D artwork and absolutely nothing else. I think there was a watermark requirement also if I recall correctly…

Err, there are Resident Evil 5 models on that website…not as free as you think…

Using these models for anything other than personal use would be an easy way to get a lawsuit on your hands.

Just use the models for educational purposes, but don’t publish anything with them.

No seriously there are many of those models that you can use, but think before you put them anywhere.

Hey free is still free and of great value to anyone looking for a template or temp model. I make my own models but often look for a good model for a template or idea based off that template. :smile:
