Looking for 2D (isometric) character assests

Hey all!

I’m working on a small 2D isometric fantasy RPG game. In the Unity assets store there are some free 2D fantasy characters but they all seem to be for 2D platformers and not isometric games.

The only one I found was this: https://assetstore.unity.com/detail/2d/characters/tiny-rpg-forest-114685 (the character actually has walking with back turned animation)

I also found this, which would be perfect but there is no walking with back turned animation (the asset descriptions says it could be used in isometric game though, am I missing something?): Fantasy Medieval Character Pack | 2D Characters | Unity Asset Store

Anyway, if somebody has some links to free isometric 2D fantasy characters, I would much appreciate it! Even if it is only one character, I need it only for my player, NPC’s will be static. :slight_smile:

I would not expect too much in terms of “no-cost” + “free to use for any case, is it commercial or for distribution and making changes”.
But where I received many many sprite bundles from is http://itch.io and most of them are especially from https://kenney.itch.io/ .
I really recommend to pay once and receive life-time updates to his bundles.
And he is really constantly working on his bundles. So every few months I got some extra spritesheets which are very valuable, without any fee or extra pay :slight_smile:
