Looking to make a 3D plane game that someone could snap together different parts of planes (wings engines etc) to create their own unique plane. Any resources I should look for in particular that might help? I’m the 3D artists and will be working with a developer but thought I might kick start things here. Thanks!

It’s actually not a bad game to look to for inspiration. Their plane editor is reasonable. And the have some clever methods of saving the data of a craft.
Creating prototype parts for the developer might allow him to see how flexible the system needs to be.

Does anyone know of any templates or project modules that have the snapping, again I’m not a developer and the one we have is not super experienced in Unity so any help we can get kicked off on would be very helpful.

There are some on the Asset Store but most of them are made more for buildings in an open world game than anything and several of them have poor reviews.
