Thank you very much guys!
I just want to note that usually more then half of scene beauty create nice lighting.

There is nothing special and difficult but one or two lights per indoor scene it is not enough.
I punted one a bit orange omni light with attenuation on every candlestick and five same color lights on chandelier above.
Also there is a tinny ambient light. When I played with strength and attenuation borders this gave me nice background lighting.

The trick is to create light which will light specific places in the game. So you can do it by not strong omni or projector lights if you know what is this places are. Also you can attach tiny projector not strong (0.2-0.25) light to the camera with little angel from right or left. So you player will see better even in dark places.

Good lighting is key to the game atmosphere, without it even best textured models and textures in the world will looks pretty weak.

Wrote it because seen several time what happened when people forgot to pay attention on lighting.

Hope it helps.

Thank you Archania. Will be more.

I want only to note that this collection and every next collections will not be part of Great Medieval Props Collections any more.

Sounds fair. I wish I had a use for it but my current project is more dungeon focussed. Any new characters in your plans?

Actually I have no plans to make any characters until castle locations will be ready.
I hope to finish it this winter can’t say more specific.
Sorry Raj…

The Great Medieval Props Collection has grown to be huge, so I certainly understand putting limits on it.

Will there be a new props collection starting up? Or is everything going to be separated in the future?

Will the Samurai Weapons, which were released earlier, be in the Great Collection? Or in a new collection?

BTW, beautiful work on the Lord’s Things. And thanks for the note on the importance of good lighting!

Thank you Hopeful and welcome.

Its possible that this collection will became part of big pack. Now I have in mind only 2 more collections: Lord’s Feast and Lord’s Kitchen. So when they will be finished all 3 may became one pack. However it will take time. I am making these collections for Castle game-level. Not all things from my props collections will be used in Castle but many indeed.

Samurai weapons will be independent asset, not included in any collection. At least this is the plan for now.

Okay, my daughters are saying in the background, “Buy it, mom!” So I will buy it. It helps that you reduced the price for a short time because I have two homecoming dance dresses and shoes to buy this weekend!

It is absolutely gorgeous! And yeah, the props collection is huge, well worth the money.

Thank you! Your castle collections are going to be a huge help to us and will really add to our game.

Thank you Teila.

BTW my daughter painted these dragons, ships and unicorns on knights banners. I think it looks pretty authentic.
You are very welcome!
