Losin texture quality when load from resourses

i write 2d game and store my .png files in Assets/Resourses folder. path to texture i store in string called Image. i add my texture on game object by

renderer.material.SetTexture(“_MainTex”, Resources.Load(Image) as Texture2D);

so in my game object texstue appears in very bad quality, put pictures in Resoureses folder in good quality. how can i make textures add to my object in good quality. thanks

The quality is independant from how you get the asset. It depends on the import settings and probably the quality setting (Edit->Project settings->Quality)
