I’ve just downloaded the newest version of unity and opened one of my projects which was created in an other version of unity. Right now buttons don’t work and there’s no text.
I would appreciate any help.
Did you do a backup of your projects?
Also, it is wise to NOT update your Unity when you’re working on a project, wait until it is done, then update. If you want to re-open an old project, it will most likely be bugged, as some functions get depreciated, become obsolete, or are replaced by new ones.
It is something that happens frequently here (a lot of qusetions about it…), and there’s not much you can do, except spending some time correcting your project.
Sometimes you can go BACK to your previous version and your project “fixes itself”. It’s not guaranteed but I would try that.
