Low Resolution Aspect Ratios

Hi everyone,

Currently I am developing a game for the mobile platform. I’ve switched the camera view to a 9:16 ratio because that seems to be what a general aspect ratio could be for many mobile devices. However, when clicking on the resolution button next to the display drop-down in the game view, the “Low Resolution Aspect Ratio” button is checked and grayed out. I’ve looked at other forum posts about this issue but they all attribute the problem to my OS. However, I don’t seem to have any problems with Windows and the aspect ratios. They also have recommended that it is due to a dual monitor setup, but I am only using one monitor at the moment. Any suggestions on how to make the Low Resolution Aspect Ratio button clickable? (I am using Unity 2019.3.13)

Thanks!

The button is clickable for me, but it does not make any difference to the list. I have tried on iOS and Android, and have restarted Unity to check that doesn’t trigger a repopulating of the list.

I pretty have a similar issue and cant seem to resolve it. I removed my monitor, launched Unity back on my laptop screen, but the option is still grayed out.
