I was just checking the LWRP changelog (to see if Speedtree support had been added yet) and noticed that upcoming version 7.0.0 details LWRP being deprecated for Universal render pipeline?
I was thinking of switching over to using SRP for an upcoming project for LWRP on VR devices, but Universal Render Pipeline sounds almost identical to the standard 3d renderer in Unity… I assume there will be performance improvements otherwise it wouldn’t be worthwhile. Shall I hold off on LWRP for Universal Render Pipeline?
