Mac App Store Submission - Invalid Binary

Hey,
So basically I’ve been following all the steps to submit my new Mac Game, I’ve signed it, copied in the correct icons, changed the info.plist and packaged it as stated here (Submitting an app to the mac app store issues. - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions). I then submit it via Application Loader and it says it’s uploaded successfully, however when I then go onto iTunes connect a few minuites later it goes from ‘Upload Received’ to ‘Binary Invalid’ without any explanation as to why/ how I should go about fixing it.

It would be great to know if anyone else has run into this/ how you went about fixing it?

I’m running unity 3.5.6f4/ OSX 10.7.5/ XCode 4.6.

Cheers,

With me it’s always a spelling mistake or a .app missing from the file name, or a problem trying to sign it. There are more threads on here about troubleshooting this, I’ll try and find one.

found it:- http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/126390-Can-t-submit-app-to-the-Mac-app-store

Mmmm, gonna try naming them the same…

Doh the name changing thing didn’t work.

There is some discussion on this thread about Mac app store http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/100916-found-a-way-to-sandbox-unity-OSX-stand-alones-for-mac-app-store, I go through steps (provided by Mantas) also Invent4 provided some useful links.

Awesome, it’s waiting for review! Didn’t realise sandboxing was required… Many thanks!
