[MAC] DMG 4.3.3 - Installation failed

Hey Guys!

I’m new to Unity and I was installing it in my Mac 1o.9.1 (1.4GHz, 2GB) and by the end of the installation process an error occurs. I mean, it shows the window with all the unity content (seems okay) and then the installer pops-up and says that it had an error.

But, since the unity folder seems to have everything, I tried to run it. Of course it didn’t go well, another error popped up: “Creating directory Temp failed. Please ensure there is enough disk space and you have permissions setup correctly.”

Still got 11Gb of free space, is that the problem? Do I need some more space?

Any help will be welcomed!

P.S.: Sorry if anyone already created a topic like this, but I didn’t manage to find it.

Not sure 11Gb is enough space to be creating games on, No. I am definately sure its not enough, you shouldn’t have unity with such little space, as for the reason this error is occuring. Try just running the installer as administrator. (I dont know if mac can do that). If it can’t then just try reinstalling. When you run the installer for unity it auto-removes the old unity files.

For now I just want to try it out, of course later on I’ll get that free space :stuck_out_tongue: Well, tried all that before posting this, still not working, same errors (first by the end of the installer and then when I try to run Unity).

But yeah, the lack of space isn’t the problem, at all, as I quoted before, it seems that the error is due to some folders creation (but I also tried to run as Admin - kinda different from Windows though).
