¿MAC or PC/WINDOWS Version?
So, now with the new version of unity3d, the question is: Buy pc/windows version or mac version?
I’ll develop for iphone too. So? What about efficiency at windows version?
Thanks in advance.

You don’t buy a PC or Mac version, you just a buy a license. Then you can use it on both PC and Mac. (You get two installs for one license.)

The iPhone Development is a different license (and a different application I believe) then Unity 2.5 and you can only develop for the iPhone on a Mac.
Correct. We have two applications, Unity and Unity iPhone. Unity is used for desktop/web content development and is available for use on both Mac and Windows. Unity iPhone is used for iPhone/iPod touch development and is available for use on Mac OS X only. In order to use Unity iPhone you first need to own Unity, and then on top of that you purchase a Unity iPhone add-on license.
Additionally, Eric is spot on in that our licenses are not platform specific. Each license is meant for a single user, but they can then install it twice and it’s up to them how to use those installations. 2 Mac? 2 Win? 1 of each?
Aaah…didn’t know this update would not be for the unity iphone too. So if we are only doing iphone development… then we should not upgrade…correct?

You should upgrade Unity to 2.5 (only if you want to) and keep Unity iPhone 1.0.1. They are separate applications.
