Just wanted to say that I am getting a macbook pro on monday! 
It is all thanks to the community here. If it hadn’t been for you guys I would still be using this 2009 macbook for another 4 years hehe.

I see i see. Congrats on getting a new machine. It’s always nice to have a change and better machine to continue. And this means you can make more assets for the community to buy.

Ive got one too. Very much suited for unity, good for me taking back and forth to university too.
Hows it for running games?
I have a macbook pro as well. I got the 15inch model. Runs games without any hiccups.
If you get the 15" with the 6750 with 1GB, it’s very good. The only modern game I’ve loaded on mine is “Witcher 2”, and it plays it without problems with all effects. Of course I normally turn off AA, since it causes so much fill rate to be consumed, so YMMV.
If you get the 256mb 6490, you can probably run many games at medium or low settings.
And the Intel HD3000, seems to be about 60% of the speed of the 6490. While better than previous intel offerings, it isn’t yet up to AMD/Nvidia range yet.
