I made my first few mini-games(3D) last year in June (it was on Mac Catalina) and the builds were working perfectly fine.
I didn’t touch them for the rest of the year and I updated my Mac system to Big Sur a few months ago. Today, I wanted to open the builds up again but it all crashed on startup(I could only see the “made with unity” animation and a few second of my game music).
I also tried to open the project folders, they also crashed when the editor(ver. 18.3.0f2) opening the project up.
Also interestingly, my desktop screen turns black whenever I launch unity.
I am wondering if this is all because of the Big Sur update? – Has anyone experienced this issue on MacBigSur? Most importantly, how do I get my builds and projects fixed? Any advice appreciated, thank you so much!
I also Updated Big Sur yesterday, today unity could not do math correctly… I tried to update to latest version of unity, didn’t work… Then I tried to Download any other version of Unity other than the 2019 3.9 version I have now, I tried 3 and all of them failed? Your not the only one something is going on with Big Sur
same here, just swapped to a new MacBook Pro with Big Sur, and any project I try to open crashes Unity Editor. Deleting Library project folder beforehand only results in reimports, then same crash. any clue what causes this?
