MacOS Ventura-Silicon Support on Mac Hardware

We’re excited to announce MacOS Ventura-Silicon is now generally available on Mac hardware on our platform! We are also removing the “experimental” tag from Xcode 15.3 and Xcode 15.4 at this time.

As part of this Ventura-Silicon release, we will begin deprecating Intel hardware and OS versions not marked as “silicon”. Please migrate any existing build targets utilizing macOS Ventura to the macOS Ventura - Silicon. We will reduce our Intel hardware on January 2, 2025 in preparation for the new year, with full removal happening at the end of January 2025. Functionality should not be impacted with this change, since we will have the intel versions of the editor running on the new hardware via rosetta.

Thank you for your continued trust in our platform, and happy building!

Hi. That’s great news. I wanted to clarify, I have intel on windows, will this somehow affect our love with unity? Thank you. Happy New Year!

This will have no impact on Windows machines.

Terrific news! Is there an ETA on XCode 16 support now that there are Apple Silicon machines? The latest version of LevelPlay requires it.

It is actively being worked on but I don’t have a date to share at the moment.
