Hey everyone I just want to know if you have the same experiences as me, cause I have asked the MADE WITH UNITY people on Tweeter to re-tweet my stuff a million times and they simply refuse!
Awhile back I had an issue with a member and the mods were kinda rude to me, and now I feel like that UNITY people in charge of these things have me on some SHIT LIST lol I dont know what to think I just think its shady that UNITY refuses to retweet my projects no matter how hard I work on them, and instead retweets bears humping walls or silly stuff!
Its so hard being an Indie developer, it upsetting to think that this company that I love so much (UNITY) might be runned by people who dont seem to care about my hard work lol no matter how many times ive asked or maybe even go out of their way not to support some people based on personal preference and NOT others!
I Also dont like the way some MODS think they can talk to us like were peasants! Every community has this issue where some people just abuse their power⌠Its very annoying, disappointing and saddening!
So I browsed through the OPs Twitter feed. Itâs probably a sensible idea to seperate out your personal tweets from your professional ones. The whole feed environment is pretty negative.
Thatâs my two cents. Take it or leave it. But there is nothing on the first couple of pages worth retweeting.
I mean ive been asking polity for awhile now and I would think UNITY would want to celebrate cool games as opposed to a BEAR humping ? Which is one of the more recent post on MADE with unity!

Also tyler Perry my man using the word WINE is not very nice, I have a right to complain! The people working for UNITY are people, which means they are not perfect! UNITY it self may not be aware that its MODS and Social Media Team are purposely Ignoring some developers, because if you asked as many times as I did you too would feel avoided and annoyed!
Ive also put in a formal complaint about the way one of the MODS here treated me and SHE has a lot of power in this site, and I wouldnt put it past her and her people to purposely try and hurt me (Again dont forgot PEOPLE are PEOPLE regardless of their tittle) and I think the UNITY should know that its people are not always FAIR to all developers!
GO take a look at all my past posts you guys, you will get an understating of the kind of guy I am, How I always encourage my fellow developers with positive comments and at the same time stand up against BS! Im a good guy, and I dont appreciate the people working in these forms choosing who to help and who not to help based on personal preference!
I also want to say that its not easy or enjoyable for me to post soemthing like this, But I believe in standing up for yourself! And I WORK VERY hard on my games! Im broke I live on food stamps I give everything to my APPS and I should not be made to feel bad for wanting to get ahead
And honestly you guys your post are not very encouraging, you are only reminding me that people in this world believe in a pecking and I dont have respect for that mentality!
If you put in the work and your game is cool it wouldnât kill them to re tweet my stuff, They even encouraged me to try doing it on FRIDAYS cause that when the re tweet different peoples stuff, and nothing! Its not cool!
Isnât it a bit⌠strange⌠to rely entirely on Unity?
I mean, the only thing they do there is retweeting your tweet. Thatâs it, nothing more. In the meantime, you could advertise your game via (gaming) forums, reaching out to YouTubers and ask them to showcase your game, etc. Also: Made with Unity - Tell Your Story.
I donât follow the made with unity twitter account (like I donât follow any twitter account) but their website ( http://madewith.unity.com/games ) gave me the impression that their intention is to showcase top of the line stuff with either high art production values or a very unique and consistent style. Things that make Unity as an engine look cool and could contribute to changing the impression that some people (mainly on steam and youtube) still might have, that Unity is mainly used for shitty asset flips and borderline broken amateur games. I always thought the website is primarily a marketing tool to promote the engine, and if it benefits a dev thatâs a positive side effect. Nothing wrong with that at all, in my humble opinion.
I think it is unlikely that they ever will promote a game which has little to no non-assetstore art. And even if they did, I think it would be unlikely to affect sales. Their followers probably are mostly devs who want to be kept up to date on what others are doing with the engine.
You should look where a better overlap between an accountâs twitter followers and people potentially interested in your game is, and try to get retweets from them.

Upset that Unity wonât retweet you? There must bigger concerns during dev than this. Even if Unity does retweet; what do you get out of it? Exposed to 6+ new people?..
And also entitled - @TylerPerry used the correct word - wining.
Forum moderators arenât Unity employees as far a I know, and most likely have little push/pull regarding games Unity promotes to show off the engine.
Does this mean the game chugs on iOS? If so might consider revisiting some optimization techniques if this is the case.
I congratulate you on releasing - particularly on iOS which isnât as easy as Android market - keep up the marketing push using different avenues available, and donât take things so personal. If someone doesnât retweet - they are busy doing other things. Or they might think the quality of the product doesnât meet/exceed expectations. Use feedback constructively instead of destructively and try not to get effected by little things, like retweeting?!?.
As a MOD to say that I sound a certain way when I have every right to âexpress myselfâ only opens the flood gates for other people to insult me! So thanx for that!

And I dont care what I SOUND LIKE TO YOU or to ANYONE else, because I believe In expressing yourself! I believe In talking about your emotions openly and Proudly! And I dont judge other people when they OPEN up to me!

I know you guys dont know know me! But I have always always and always will stand up for what I think is right and wrong! One of the reasons I created an ALL FEMALE Action game is because I felt like there is still a lot of Sexism in the world and especially in gaming communityâs! So I made all an Girl game cause I want to try and change the gaming community perspective on equality towards women! And I get you dont see all that about me, but yeah I do think Im a good person who fights the good fight and I am proud of my games and my games are better than a BEAR twerking lol so why wouldnât UNITY want to help someone like me out!?
Maybe the best thing to do is to say SORRY I even brought it up! its clear some of you are not comfortable with some one like meâŚ
