I’m new to Game Development and Unity so far i made a few small games without main menus, plots etc just to get a feel for the interface and such. Right now I have run across a few bumps on the road that i hope some of the less Noob-like of the community can help me with

the “thingy” that changes the angle of what i’m veiwing disappeared one day when i opened unity, is it a package i forgot to load? or did i accidentally turn it off in the settings? Don’t bother with that one i was in the wrong tab Facepalm

how do i make an invisible wall to contain the character and stop the poor fellow from falling of the edge into the abyss:shock:

on the bottom left “Heirachy” panel when i double click on an object such as the fps controller the inspector acts normal while the screen that normally zooms in on the particular object does nothing and i only see my game through the eyes of the unspawned character which also means i cannot sufficiently manipulate the objects throughout the rest of the scene

My character is a Genetically engineered creatured called a “Zuxid” (something i made up) anyway one little trick this animal possesses is a retractable flap of skin that can be used for gliding so i was hoping that a player can jump or somehow get airborne and then hold the “F” key then gravity is reduced and the players can use mouse to point where they want it to glide to, if someone could help me with coding that, it would be greatly appreciated:smile:
I know i sound like a noob and that’s probably because i am so i need to know these things for the game and if i get enough knowledge i’m going to get better and stop being a noob ![]()
