Major bug report keeps getting closed with the absurd explanation "No fix planned"

Hey,
long ago I reported a major bug with XR / HDRP, here is a link to my second report about this, as the first one was ignored:

Now I am getting response from bug tracker that this issue won’t get fixed. I have some idea why this might be the case (the developer of the feature left Unity afaik), but this cannot be a reason to leave a major bug open.

Not sure how the content of the public part gets updated, but the internal ticket got closed two times, yesterday and today, and I reopened it twice to get an explanation.

You mean the jra end?eg the IN-99999 format ticket?

Exactly. That’s the important part used for communication with QA.

I have my own issues with JRA system and not getting emails. However, the JRA status, and the bug status are independant… but they do tend to close by default after a period of inactivity, as long as you get the email you can just reply and say “still an issue” and keep it alive.

The issue was closed automatically by a bot.
We’ve reopened the issue for the correct Unity version.
