Make a Player Die on Collision { Urgent }

So basically Me and a few friends have been working on a Unity 3D project. We are nearing the End of our due date and we desperately need a direction to head in.
Our game is a simple 3d game in which you ( Player ) are standing on a Platform in water. Straight ahead, We have cubes Spawning Constantly. There is only one problem that we have. We need to make a Script to attach to the Cubes so that when they touch the player ( The player fails to Dodge the cube ) They die on collision with the cube.
We do not expect any scripts to be made for us but just a direction we can head in to get us going.

This seems similar, except you need to execute different code than the example’s destroy. Also, maybe use Collider.OnCollisionEnter instead of trigger. Good luck!
