Hello, does anyone know why lens flares move/disappear on a moving object? I have lights on my car, but, they do not show going over 15 mph.
Bump.

BUMP?
Can you give any more detail about what is going on in the game? In particular, how is the car viewed (top down, back, cockpit view…) and how does the camera track it?
I use the orbit camera to see the front of the car. the problem is that it is Interpolate. When set to none, the car shakes. When set to the lowest, the car is fine, but the flares dont show when going in reverse(the back ones dont show(halos)), and forward(the front ones dont show over a low speed).
Did you figure this out, I’m having the exact same issue (I’m sure other people do aswell)…
Sorry, but no. I ended up not using any.
Hi, thanks for replying:) Sorry to hear that, I might have to find another way too… It’s seems a bit strange that no one else is experiencing this though. Your thread was the only one I could find…
(just tested, and the same thing happens even if the camera is just parented to the moving object(car))…
If anyone else has this problem, in Unity 3, you need to script the lense flare. This script will get rid of this issue:
