i want to know how to make a personal custom character, in 3rd person, not a sphere but a person or animal, or anything i can make myself. the default is a construction worker, but i don’t know how to change t or make a new one. i don’t care about how to animate it yet, i know how to work the controls for 3rd person, every time i ask this question i get like 50 different results none of which answer what i want to know. just tell me how to make a character. Infamous has “Cole” assasins creed has “Ezio” i want my own.
Get a modeling app (Blender is free) and model a character. It is not a trivial task though.
Just google “Blender character modeling” and you will find several decent results. If you use any other modeling application, simply search for that.

Once you modeled it, import it into Unity. Next, you might have to look into character animation, as a simple character model without animations won’t do much.
