Make sliced sprite parts draggable into Texture2D object field

Hi,

I’m wondering if there’s any way to make 2D sprites (sliced with Sprite Editor) compatible with Texture2D object field? It does work with the whole sprite, but it doesn’t allow to use sliced parts at all.

Not sure exactly what you mean.

I want be able to drag part of the 2D image (sliced with Sprite Editor) onto the Texture2D object field.

So, only a portion of the highlighted sprite?
