Did the model with MH. What do you think about the quality?

Looks pretty good.

Hey Mikie,

MakeHuman is an excellent choice for humanoid PC’s, and NPC’s. The web player demo worked perfectly, and it seems you properly assigned all Unity default (?) skeleton rigs to the mesh appropriately. If I remember, the animations used are the same in the Unity 4.0 demo, as well as the same ones available in the demonstration tutorial for Unity 4.0. I have yet to use my own models for this system inside Unity but it seems like you have properly configured weighting for skinned meshes. I know MakeHuman models sometimes require custom weighting for skinned meshes, so everything seems to be perfect here.

Now if you could assemble a library of motions, maybe import bvh/export fbx in Blender, and get them into Unity, you could bypass Autodesk.

I am not using Autodesk.

I am happy to see you got it working right! Very nice!
How did you get the MH to Unity eventually? I am trying for so long now via Blender but in Unity it shows up with meshblocks I cannot delete.

Did you export from MakeHuman or did you use the Blender plugin to open the MH file directly? I haven’t tried it yet but I saw it was there (at least in 2.69), just not enabled by default.
