I’m trying to make an airplane (rigidbody) to orbit a cylinder, but i can’t seem to know a good way to do so. The distance between the airplane and cylinder has to never change. I want the airplane to be able to move up, down and forward. Help much appreciated.
I would advise attaching your airplane to the cylinder as a child GameObject. To do this, simply drag your airplane from the inspector into the cylinder. Now, if you want the airplane to fly around the cylinder, increase the Z rotation of the cylinder. Hope this helped.
