hi if i wanna do a shop i should do a new scene or i should desactive some ui elements and active a new ones?
Depends. If your shop is just going to be UI, it would be faster when playing to simply enable a different Canvas. However if you need your shop in a different environment, it would be much easier to make a new scene.
but i can call a value from other scene without assign the same script in the new one ?
Well you could call a value from wherever you’re saving your store’s info. Once you switch scenes everything that hasn’t been saved gets lost. Also, you can use DontDestroyOnLoad.
so i should do the int value with
Object.DontDestroyOnLoad and make in static and public for call it in other scene ? and i have to add to gamecontroller on the new scene too ?
If you wanted to go the 2 scene route, you could use that DontDestroyOnLoad script everywhere without worrying that its values would change.
I’m not sure what your gamecontroller is though, that’s for you to decide.
i mean like this. u have a script called “first” on a empty called “gamecontroller” in scene 1, with int =30 and then u created another scene witha new script called “second” u can call that value without assign “first” on other empty objecT?
I mean have a script called “StoreManager” on an object named “Scripts” or something like that in scene1. Set it to DontDestroyOnLoad. Then (for example), have Coins=500. When you go to other scenes, you can keep referencing the StoreManager script because it isn’t destroyed.
and whits this the item storemanager will be on the new scene ? i dont want that only the value xd
Have you looked into DontDestroyOnLoad? It keeps something from being destroyed when switching scenes. I don’t know exactly how you’re making your game. I just said you could use 1 script for multiple scenes without losing its values, and saving it to a file at some point. The rest you have to figure out lol
