Making an Asset from a Primitive

[Beginner Question]

I created a nice sphere from a primitive sphere type. Let’s say I would like to call this a “RedSphere”. How would I go about adding this to the asset menu so I can reuse this GameObject and create it from code (C#)?

Edit: I created this object in the Scene itself, and edited the components. I’m trying to get it from the scene into the asset browser.

You can make something a prefab by just dragging it to your project view. Just create a folder called Prefabs - and drag your sphere from your hierarchy to that folder, it will automatically become a prefab, you will see the names colors become blue, indicating that your object is now connected to your prefab :slight_smile:
