Making Turns With Actions In A Battlescene.

Hello everybody. i’m currently trying to make a game where two different sides fight eachother with a turn based combat. but i don’t really know exactly how to pull this off.

basically when it is the enemys turn ALL of them must do an action like skipping, resting or attacking and then the Players is allowed to choose what all of his characters wants to do. until one of the side has been defeated.
In case anybody wonders about a master object i have never got any experience with it.

I highly suggest you brainstorm the functions of your video game, and produce some sort of physical concept, so you can present it to us along with your question.
