You absolutely must export as fbx, and use the correct export parameters as specified in the content creation doc in the UMA folder.

Suit 2 Wip:

So I tried out your Base 2 races, and I like them. So I think, maybe I give them some clothing, but before I do it, I would like to know if I am right: The models decribed as “MB1 FB1” are only for the original UMA race? And the one, not described as “MB1 FB1” are only for your Base 2 races?
And as I recently started using URP and your Base 2 race gives me only errors for missing components (textures) is there a (detailed) instruction somewhere, how to convert Base 2 to URP?

Hey Swindger.

Anything with UMA in the title( ie. UMA RPG Starter) will be compatible with the Base 2.0. Barbarian pack still needs a refit, so you’ll need to continue using the default body and 2.0 Overlays for that.

I believe someone has tweaked the SSS shader code to be URP compatible. I’ll ask them about it and upload to the site.

UMA also has a material converter that converts standard materials to URP. Otherwise you’d have to give the slots and overlays a new URP material (right click, create, UMA, core, material, give it 3 channels (should be _MainTex, _BumpMap, _MetallicGloss).

If the SSS shader is not working on IOS or Mac:

You can fix it by removing “RoughnessToPerceptualRoughness” function from SSS_Utils.cginc

Lighter version of Female face 03 is added to willbgameart.com for overlay adjustments. Works the same as the other female faces.

Approximate skin color settings. Use the ““Face and Body Thickness map”” from Face 03 on the default face pack Overlays. This will reduce the SSS on the lighter skin but it’s unavoidable with darker skin. Will set that up a bit later.
