Hello,
I have a project : Build an archipelago, with several island and zones.
I want to have a total size for my archipelago of 100 Km (real size).
someone give me the following advice :
Split the total area in several zones.
So i need to model and paint , and place terrain beside each other, but i red terrains can not be merge or modeled in border of each.
How to do ?
And , it will be very cool if i’m able to model and paint and work on every each zones and import them, oen by one in my final giant size project.
It is possible ?
If you have good advices for my project i will very happy to know them.
Many thanks !
Best Regards.

I’m not sure why you need to merge the terrains for an archipelago - I would have thought you could just have the islands as separate terrains sticking up out of the water. Does the game involve going underwater and seeing the seabed?
Yes, i need to have the bottom of the sea, because i need to do zones for missions and underwater cities + secret area in deep waters.
Thanks a lot !

as for your problem: you can put the terrains next to each other and then connect them through SetNeighbors so their normals become continous (important for lighting).
What is setneightbors please ?
An option in terrain or it is script ?
Thanks a lot !!!

Please how to use it ?
Several terrains merged = one only terrain or i can load every areas like i want ?
Thanks a lot !!
