Manual broken link

hey guys, so I’m going over the manual from start to finish (gonna take awhile)
and I’ll be updating you on broken links and stuff like that.

Unity - Manual: Content and Context - light probes link broken
Unity - Manual: Standard Shader - double PBS reference text (The Standard shader makes PBS…) and another text after the picture.

@Telsek , thanks a lot for your effort, and we apologize for the broken links in the 5.0 documentation. We have earlier mentioned in public that our goal was zero broken links in the 5.0 documentation, however we unfortunately didn’t make this.

As part of internal build process, we actually are validating broken links in built docs, as well as Google Analytics also helps us identify external broken links on the published docs. So really no need for you to manually verify broken links, but feel free to look for other kinds of issues in the docs, i.e. content which can be improved etc.

We’re actively working on reducing the number of broken links even further for 5.1 docs, still with the goal of reaching zero broken links.

As I mentioned, I’m reading the entire manual from start to finish
not in purpose for links verification :smile: but for professional enrichment.

Just to update you, I’ve fixed the broken links in the manual (in source, at least) and I understand my colleague is fixing the ones in the script ref. All the fixes should be available online soon.

The docs were updated today, and I can’t see the missing link any more.

Cool. So just found this one:
