Many years work in progress, MMO/Strategy still under construction, ETA still unknown

This is a sketch shot adjustment from one of my ship bridges

you know, if you want cash now, you could seriously just cut up bits of the game and make them as different games. Like I’m pretty sure you could make a fairly good small game right now, just for some income. It would also help build up excitement for the full mmo game. Like you add together all those small cool games together and it makes this strategy MMO, it would intrigue people

I’m just rambling here. It looks cool from that one single screenshot though. Mind telling details about the game?

Very nice artwork
Any actual screenshot, design article, or even more concept work ?

plenty more concept work and design work, on my unity box which is at home, will trim up some of them and post with more details on the game later tonight

i suggest doing someting like interstellar marines did to keep your game out in the peoples vision. clips of developing. then like said above give them snippets to play. infact that is going to be my approach when i start. i plan to come up with a playable demo of one major feature in the game. this will allow people to get the feel for it and peek their intrest .

this artwork has elite level for me.

Sorry for delay on more images and concept work, my artist is on Holliday and I am buried in code, probably no time to fully do a write up until this weekend.

I will say that the back end server for this is Photon, front end is obviously Unity, and has components on the iPhone, Android phones, iPad, Android Pads, PC and Mac interfaces, depending on where and what you are doing in the game.

Here is a few more cuts from the concept art, this is of the engineering bay and observation deck both on the main mother ship which will also be on the colony ship.

As the player journeys through space locating a new home world to colonize, they will be required to manufacture many different objects including drones, mining craft, etc. This ship is so massive that you can walk around in it, look out the windows, watch your ships fly in and out of the shuttle bay or attach remotely to your cargo bay, you will also be able to watch your robots as they load and unload cargo from your automated drone ships.

Because of the size of this ship, it will also be possible to be boarded, thats right, enemy’s can board your ship and you have to fend them off with your mechanical troopers or take matters into your own hands with a first person shooter layout, run into the frey, blast away with your own researched and manufactured weapons!

Actually mentioning the Boarding part of the game, this is sort of a hint as to how you can obtain unknown alien technology, obviously due to the era that this takes place in, Earth is still more or less still young with regards to technology which means that modern weapons is all you really initially have or know how to manufacture, only through acquisition and experimentation will you be able to produce other types of weapons or even equipment.

The size of this game will also be rather large, I am trying to ensure that the Universe has enough stars per server bank to include enough planets so that every player can in fact colonize their own planet and wage war against each other for resources since each planet will be able to supply an abundance of a few select materials, other materials will be rare and hard to obtain so either trading or conquering will you be able to obtain those resources.

Another aspect of this game is that resources are finite, so to become a type of system overlord you have to be able to understand your resources, understand the different technologies, and ultimately fend for yourself as you attempt to rebuild the human race.
Not really a new concept, I know, but I am attempting to put this into a larger, more realistic scale and introduce components of fiction and fantasy.

This is just the icing on the cake though.

What ever happened to this?

Massive shame for you to give up on it.
