map world in blender or unity?

hi, i should made all the map in blender or make it on unity and then add object made with blender?

Generally it’s better to make individual objects in Blender,

and build the world map in Unity by placing the objects in the Unity editor.

Otherwise, you’ll have trouble avoiding duplicate vertex data (across different scenes at least) and each time you update a small detail, the whole world would need to be reimported, slowing you down.

so make for ex rocks in blender, build terrain on unity and put it on it __ ?

Exactly. Make rocks in Blender. Build terrain in Unity. Put rocks on terrain in Unity :smile:

Tip: for terrain, there are tools such as World Machine or GAIA that make it easier to create.

I use GAIA to build the terrain and Prefab Painter from the ProCore bundle
