MapBox - Javascript API work in unity?

Would one be able to use the MapBox Javascript API to render maps in unity or is this not possible due to ajax/json references?

@TheMantaRay There is a Mapbox SDK for Unity that is currently in beta. You can get it at Maps SDK for Unity: 3D worlds, AR, & POIs | Mapbox. Written in c# for the direct purpose of utilizing a variety of Mapbox’s APIs to render map data in Unity.
