Hi, i’m working on a marble game (like Marble Blast)
and i’m having problems with the control of the ball.

The problem is that the sphere is sliding in the surface, like the problem in this post: [http://forum.unity3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=15740&highlight=marble+friction](http://forum.unity3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=15740&highlight=marble+friction)

but none of that solutions worked.

i’ve tried with: setting the static friction for both to a non-zero, setting both material to friction 1,using addtorque, AddForceAtPosition, or addforce etc.

what i’m missing?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

The one thing you’ve missed from your list is dynamic friction. Also, try setting the friction combine mode to “maximum”.

thanks for your reply, i think i solved it by adding a rigidbody setting it to kinematic, and no gravity.
