We are small team, who are mostly working on projects that could help for other developers to create their own projects. Before two months, we’ve received a letter where marketplace owners(Game Gorillaz) said that the payments will be delayed due to some kind of country problems. We said it is alright and we will wait for a respond, but after two months we still didn’t got any answers from them. They said that all payments will be credited to developers accounts until 15th of March, but we haven’t got any money. Now we think that they just appropriated our orders and tried to delay all our requests. We think that we’re not alone and there is way more developers who didn’t get they payments. So we would like to share this message and let everybody know that not every marketplace is good for developers who want to earn some extra money. Still, we tried to contact owners, but we didn’t get any response. We have all orders with all customers who bought our projects. So, we would like to know is there any institutions which could help us to solve this problem, because were are thinking that there are tons of developers who are waiting their payments and can’t get any response from owners.
Yes, I have the same issue with Gamegorillaz. I have one order completed in May but still have no payment. I wrote to the support two times and have no any reply from them.
Are there tons of developers? I’m not convinced of that because the site has almost no presence or value. There are no advertisements that I can find, no news articles mentioning the site, their Twitter account only has 290 followers despite being over two years old, the parent company that owns them has no presence either.
My initial impression of the whole matter is that the site is a scam. If I had to suggest an institution it would be a lawyer but keep in mind they’re based in India. You might not be able to do anything about it. If it were me (outside of the fact I never would have trusted them enough to use them), I’d cut my losses, take down my game, and find a new marketplace.

Today finally I got a payout from Gamegorillaz, two months later after the sale.

Game Gorillaz is the only platform that is sending the instant payment. As soon as order is placed by the buyer, The developers are automatically paid. So keep on checking the paypal regularly for payments as order is approved. On Other platforms first a developer has to reach a threshold amount and after reaching it money is released in 45 days.
There were delay in Payment of April because of the fact that our team was implementing this instant payment system to help our developers grow. This implementation took longer than expected and created a backlog of payments which we did not expect, as all payments are orders go through an accounting check. Considering this, April payments were delayed, but this information was informed to all our developers.
With the new system the developers now get paid instantly whenever a sale is made. This has helped many developers increase their earnings through the platform and with immd. funds they can focus more on growing their companies.

The site has over 3000+ Developers. The platform is around 2 years old. Our social sectors do need improvement like you mentioned about twitter, but that really should not equal to the company not being a legal identity.
Please be assured that though we are in India and our developers are worldwide, we are very particular about our working methodologies and reputation. It is obviously not possible to have a 100% satisfaction rate as many a times there are issues beyond our control such as false orders or buyers and sellers trying to scam the system. But we do give our best to provide the best possible platform.
The parent company is over 12 years old, which should give you more information that GG has a strong financial and manpower backing.

I know it’s your job to distribute the kool-aid, but this is wrong. I can name other platforms with instant payment options.
Devs aren’t stupid. Do yourselves a favour and don’t lie to us.
Developers are definitely not stupid - trust us we know.
Our entire platform IS because of developers.
When we speak of other marketplaces we are limiting to our immd. competing marketplaces. Like app codes, buildbox projects etc.
