Mass Edit

Hey, I have been working on two simple scripts that I hope will save you all a lot of time adding and editing properties of a gameobject. All you need to do is add the mass editor script to a gameobject, then add the mass edited script to any gameobjects you want, and make the mass editor gameobject the parent. Heres a list of what it can do:

  • Add Components
  • Remove Components
  • Edit Tags, Layers, and Names

Anyone have any opinions on what I should add?

I wish I had time right now to check this out. It sounds like it would be highly useful.

Mass editing of materials, shaders (changing lots of them, someone asked for that a while back) I suppose would be a good addition maybe?

Changing back and to, static?

I don’t know if anyone feels this need but I’d like to have a mass edit for settings of texture import and mesh import.
