Here is another example to what you can build with MasterCube, everything on this scene was built with MasterCube, and we add some decals and grass to add a special plus

wow… pretty impressive! This is very nice cubeart  Cant wait to try it.

Cool! you can get pretty nice cubeart designs, here a few more examples:

Cartoon House with interior!

Cartoon Desert City

When I create prefabs made of several or even one MasterCube children and then bring the prefabs back into a scene the child objects (mastercubes) don’t render at all, I just get empty box colliders, until I select individual children of the prefab parent in the hierarchy.

Any ideas?

Well, you answered your own question Mr.@ig3d :stuck_out_tongue:
just select the MasterCube’s childs and they will appear again.

But yeah, this happens… we will see if there is a way to kind of ‘refresh’ the prefabs

Is there a way to hide the MC icon that shows in the scene window as it is getting in the way?

UPDATE : Don’t worry I found it under the Gizmos drop down on the scene window.

I have a little feature request: Can you add support for planes?

I want to scale planes without f’cking up the UVs.

I think it’s possible! We will take a look soon

Thanks
Maybe I could even donate, but I’m not sure because I’m 15, so I’d have to ask my parents… which is kinda weird for a small donation.

MasterCube is a great tool for prototyping.
But I found it works incorrectly in current Unity. I am using Unity 5.3 and 5.4.

The problem is that:
I setup one MasterCube, and I click another MasterCube. Then, the first MasterCube’s parameters are set incorrectly.

It is easy to reproduce the issue with following steps.
Step-1. Create an empty scene in Unity 5.4. Create a Cube, and drag a texture into it.
There are null reference errors pop out.

If I click “Face transform” sub menu, the error seems not affect anymore.

Step-2. Create the second cube, and add MasterCube component onto it.
I click the second cube, then, click the first one. The parameters in the first cube goes wrong again.

Thanks a lot for help from author of MasterCube.
I get that issue because I create a MasterCube by adding MasterCube component onto a normal cube.
MasterCube should be created directly from menu like this below (also shown in tutorial):
