is there any chance to clone material inside unity engine automatically not using anywhere in script
i’m so confuse why our material instance count increased.
and we do not do something like render.material anywhere in script.
so. unity engine might be clone if it can’t batch objects?
our platform is windowsplayer
Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but for dynamic batching to work you will have to use the exact same material - not a copy or anything - on the shared material of your renderer. If you have two copies of your material in your project and assign them to two renderers you will get two draw calls - although its the same materials.
