Matt Hall interview: Crossy Road developer

Sorry if this has already been posted and discussed. But this article has been doing the rounds of the IGDAM group.

Some interesting points I picked out were making you game world class and building your game for a specific person.

It seems that there are skilled geniuses that can still make it as indies these days.

“A common mistake young developers make, explains Hall, is looking to their friends, or the local development community and using that as their personal benchmark.”

Too true, and not just for making blockbusters.

The definition of indie is kind of ambiguous these days, but yeah he has a good head on his shoulders. Square that with good ideas, you can go a long way with a little momentum.

Weirdly written article though…
