i use maya and cinema 4d, just wanted to know where i can get an export plugin for dts export for maya and/or cinema.or a file type that will work in torque
This isn’t really the place to ask about Torque. We will all probably tell you to back away slowly from it and buy Unity.
Before I found Unity I tried to use Torque and found there really aren’t any tools that run on a mac and can get models into torque other then the $$$$$$$ ones.
Unity supports many popular formats so a lot of apps can get stuff into it. There are countless other reasons I could spout about why Unity is so much better then torque and you should get the demo or buy it but I won’t.
There isn’t a DTS exporter for C4D.
Try searching garagegames.com for the maya2dts plugin. There are multiple versions floating around somewhere there, unless you’re looking for a Maya 7 exporter for Mac though; then you’re out of luck. It has been “coming soon” for about 6 months now with no progress.
Also, why are you posting here? Why not garagegames? I mean, their customers do have access to the Torque private developers forums and TDN which is meant for questions like this.
