Maya Animation Weirdness...

Hi guys, I have this huge problem with my maya animation that I just can't solve...

Well... My character's animation works perfectly in Maya... But when I import it into Unity3D... The entire model screws up.

The skeleton works perfectly, from what I'm guessing, but the skin goes haywire, with the arms being stretched downwards like dough...

Did anyone ever have a similar problem? A maya animation working perfectly in Maya, but the skin completely screwing up in Unity3D... I suspect it might have something to do with everything being stretched to the

I'm using Unity3 if that helps.

Do you get any warnings on import of your file in Unity? Does it look correct when playing animation?

You can always try exporting from Maya manually to make sure that there are not FBX export errors. And trying to import your fbx file back to Maya is a good idea too.

Ah, my modeller managed to fix it. In this case, she kinda forgot to freeze transformations...

Worked like a charm after that.

You can also bake the animations and avoid this issue.
